Once this is done, the Lord can unlock the room with the lever, using the same combination as the gates. The two will need to work together to make the symbols on both sides of the game align. In the fifth room, a gate with symbols will separate the Lord and the Peasant. This puzzle is especially tense with the sudden change in music and tone, giving the game a horror-esque feel to it, a la Inscryption. They will be stuck in a maze and will require the Lord's directions to get through it. For a moment, The Lord will be able to see their Peasant from a balcony. There will be some sound cues and, when the chessboard drops into the table, the door will open. The Peasant will relay instructions on how the Lord should guide the pawn safely across the board. Once the Peasant solves this puzzle, a chess-like game set up on a table to the room's left will activate. After flipping it, the Lord of We Were Here Too should describe the stained glass windows in the room to the Peasant in the order they appear. The final lever is at the entrance of the fourth room and to the right. The Peasant will complete the puzzle that opens the gate to the next room. The Lord should describe these to the Peasant, as well as the symbols over their heads. Further into the room, there are knights holding weapons and shields. These must also be described to the Peasant so they can solve the puzzle that will open this room's lever door. When the Peasant succeeds, the symbols on the banner in the Lord's room will begin to glow. The first involves a book in the middle of the room that shows candles set in a specific array. The Peasant must light the candles in the order the book has them arranged, so careful communication between players is key. There are three co-op puzzles in the second room of We Were Here Too. This is just the beginning of the game's emphasis on communication, much like other asymmetrical multiplayer games. This will unlock the door to the next room. ![]() Above the three coffins should be another set of symbols to be relayed to the Peasant. Once the other player has solved the puzzle involving those symbols, the lever room will unlock.
